Hi, Got to know about you via Marina's post on another website and promised to post on this, so here it is! Me and hubby bought a leaseback apartment with Pierre & Vacances on the Cote D'Azur. We didn't buy from new but the original buyers wanted to sell so we bought 'second-hand' from P&V. They do sell from older developments but you have to go through their Paris Office because these resales aren't advertised as the new-build properties are. It's worth exploring as we found the resales were cheaper compared to new build. Although we own outright now we have kept the rental agreement on as it suits us to have the income and no worries about bills and maintenance and of course we can still take advantage of the swaps in other places. The only downside to the rental agreement is that you are not allowed to decorate to your own taste or make any alterations as all the apartments must have a corporate look and be of the same standard. All in all it was a fantastic buy for us and it's great to know that at the end of the day we can sell having made a very nice profit.
Hi Seamus.
Has the resale platform which you mentioned gone live yet and if it has, have you got a website address?

Basically, resales sell at the multiples of income that are noted on our site.
When Trish talks about 'profit', I imagine she bought quite cheaply.
Hi,
I just found this topic, and wondered how the resale market is at the moment. I know that there are difficulties with management companies and bankrupcy currently.
This probably seems a silly question, but is there anyone who would be interested in buying a resale while the management company is being changed, and the new lease agreement not settled yet.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Has anyone managed to sell a leaseback - if so any tips please.
I'm not that unhappy with it - the rent gets paid, bills not too bad etc it's just I have no time to use it and want to buy somewhere I could get to easier.
tnx everyone

Hi All,
I have just decide to sell my leaseback in St Raphael south of France. Can anyone help me get it on the market or know of someone who will sell it for me as I am having difficulty with the language. Any other advice on reselling a leaseback would be appreciated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
