Hi
I ve been offered an appt in this development at what seems a keen price to the owners apparently needing a swift sale due to divorce.
The lease is due up in Dec 2017 and i forsee a possible large bill for a refurb at that point.
Any other owners on here able/willing to share their experiences of the development/leaseback/CGH ?
We love Ste Foy and go every year
Regards
Do plenty of research. I wish I had with P&V. Reselling just does not exist unless for a massive loss.
Hi I own in St Foy and currently there is a lot of very active and positive work being done with the owners council towards signing a more favourable contract for the
new lease in 2017. This is currently under negotiation and will reach conclusion I believe in the next couple of months. Overall I have a had a great experience owning in Sainte
Foy but my best advice is fully understand what is in the lease contract you are signing up to and what the conditions of the lease renewal are. I would also advice you to
understand the full cost of ownership over the term of the lease in order that you do not get any surprises. There is a lot of new legislation regarding the
payment of TVA as the weeks you use may be considered as a taxible benefit under recent French law. Make sure you fully get this explained by the agent and get a line by line breakdown of all costs.
