Thanks for this article . It is very interesting . Hard to get a big group of people that do not speak the same language to join together and work together against the management company though , especially when one is far away .

You probably need one person in your group who speaks French,
We communicated with a French owner who had the same end goal as us. Google translate can help in cases where everyone does not understand French. It helps greatly when you work together with French owners as they know the system, the culture etc. Where there is a will there's a way.

did try this but as the French people never replied to any questions and I tried to use the Google translate it became more confusing and you do not know what you are letting yourself get in to and am very warey after getting in to one mess already . I know that there are many other people in my complex that feel the same way . Even the English speaking ones who have joined with the French ones do not seem to have a clue what is going on but just keep paying the money anyway .I spoke to one of them last night and they told me that they really don't know what the big French group have done legally despite asking them many times (and they are in the group!) so I think you either have to join with other English speaking people to form you own group with a Solicitor that speaks perfect English or do your own thing . It is pointless being part of a group that you do not have a clue what they are doing /

Another thing we did Carol...all the Irish owners met up face to face at an agreed location in Ireland and discussed all our problems face to face. It is a good way to decide on future strategies and share experience/knowledge.
