May have already been answered on another thread. What happens if at the end of your first 9 year lease P&V walk away. Do they still refurbish the apartment? What group takes over running the apartments?

If you are lucky, no one will take over the running of your appartment. Otherwise you will never get ownership without
paying huge compensation.
You should be served with a copy of the "Act de Cession" (with 3 months notice) if the lease is to change hands.
You have the option at this time not to renew the lease.
