I'm wondering whether the Tax Return Service on this site is being used by any of you? If so, I have a question about the Land Price field as I've never had to supply that information to my French accountants (who I want to stop using as too expensive), and don't know why the field is mandatory given that so many leasebacks are apartments as is mine, so surely that doesn't apply.
I've never had to supply the property amortisation from the previous year either (another mandatory field), does anyone know how to calculate it? As I've been using an online accountant, I haven't been receiving any of the forms mentioned on the Tax Return and so can't access that info. Also can't access my personal space on impots.gouv.fr (to see if the info is there) as it's not recognising my Numero Fiscal. Does that change every year?

Yes we have used the Tax return service offered by Seamus this year. It worked very well and Seamus was helpful in setting it up.
You do have to create your own impôts area on the French site using your fiscal number. Good luck

Note it is likely you have a contract with your current accountant and if you do not give them sufficient notice you will be forced to use their service for another year
I looked into this towards the end of last year and asked Seamus a few questions and got quick responses. I advised my current tax return company MG last September I didn't plan to use them for 2024 but left it open I'd recontact them if I had a problem as wanted to make sure this service worked. I collected the documents I needed for the 2024 return and in a few hours today it's all done and submitted to the tax office meaning I've gone from paying over 400 euros a year to 95 pounds this year. Seamus helped set it up and then was really simply and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
