Does anyone know of an English speaking French Lawyer preferably Ireland based..even better if Dublin. With 6 years left on my second lease I want to get expert advice on the legal;ities around exiting or not renewing when the current lease comes up for renewal.

I have a leaseback in Normandy at haut Val, Belleme. I dont know if there are any others here in the group. We have been through the usual trauma with the mangement company going bust and cancelling the leases back in 2011-12 with the further complication that not all of the site was finished.
There is a hotel on site that was taken over by DCG but the terms they offered us at the time were so bad that a number of us refused to sign a fresh lease with them.
Has anyone tried the new tax return yet? Got an email about it this morning. It's really easy to use. Unfortunately I had already paid an accountant this year. But the forms it generated were the same as the ones my accountant returned.

I have been offered a mandat de gestion contract by my management company with the cancellation of my 1 year old leaseback contract without any indemnity charge.The one provision is that I must include a min of 50% of the winter school holiday periods in the availability of my apartment. As from next year this is no problem for me as my son leaves school this year.
If I understand correctly, i can offer my apartment to the management company for all of the winter school holiday periods under the contract and use the apartment as i wish for the rest of the year.

May have already been answered on another thread. What happens if at the end of your first 9 year lease P&V walk away. Do they still refurbish the apartment? What group takes over running the apartments?

We have recieved and paid a tax fonciere bill for €1,810.
We were advised on purchase that this should have been approx €12/m2 - apartment size is 57m2 so about €684
Does anyone know how we can challenge the amount?
